What's a used Century tractor worth?

I have a Century tractor 2535 with FL, 8' backhoe/claw and backblade that I will have to sell within the next year. I purchased the tractor new in Ct., has been garaged, currenty has under 125 hours on it and needless to say is in mint condition. It's been a great tractor, serviced by me and used around my home. I'm trying to get an idea what it might be worth. I hate to sell it but won't need it where I'm moving to. Any ideas.

You don't mention what year it is, although with those hours, it won't make too much difference. I'd check at Tractorhouse.com, and see if any are listed for sale there...

Century's are not made any more, but are the same basic tractor as the current Bransons. Yours is a HD 3510, so to speak.

Lunk - I had it a little over five years. Only used for light household stuff, wood, driveway maint. snowplowing, etc. Any dealer out their that would offer any opinions on value? The BH is an ameriequip (SP?),nice unit. The tractor can just about handle anything!

There are many variables on used equipment but Id have to think in the 14-15k range. New it probably was in the $22,000.00 range + or - 1k depending on the year it was sold and rebates available at that time .Try doing a Google search under century 2535 or Branson 3510 . Good luck

They are a nice unit and I have always liked them.

However, no long in production but you can get parts thru other dealer network.

I think there was something similar on Craigs list in NY a little while back and the ask on it was 12K.

I think that is probably in the ball park.

Check with Harold Foskett, at Foskett Equipment on Route 171 in Woodstock, CT. I also own a Century. I bought it from Harold about 8 years ago. He still sells the Branson line, and can probably tell you what your machine is worth.
