It seems prices for these things are all over the place on Tractor House. The lowest I have seen is $9900 for an 09 with average hours up to almost $17k for a low hour 2011. Numerous others in the $10k- $13k range. Thats a big spread! Where do you think a 2009 with low hours belongs? My other option is a new 3015 Branson for $18K.

Probably paid to much but gave $11000 for mine in 2015 with about 1300 hours. Has about 1950 hours now. It is a 2008 year model.

Why do you think too much?

I seem to always buy high, sell low. Never been a wheeler dealer. I was and still am satisfied with my purchase. It has been a workhouse for me. I have used the loader hard, 5' rotary mower, 6' finish mower, 2 bottom turning plow, 5' double disc and most any other attachment and never bogged it down. And I can move it around on my 16' flatbed without any problems. A perfect fit for my needs.

A year ago I was offered $10,900 for trade-in value on my 2008 CT230 with FEL and 3rd function control with 240 hours. I think you are safe in the $10-$13 range on a private sale. It would cost $12-$15 at a dealer.

It seems I remember reading on here, Bobcat and maybe all tractors were not really "defined by year".
Its been a long time, maybe Im not remembering something correctly
:duh:
After all, I am 10 years older now

Well, yes and no. The DO have a year, but it means much less about their value than it does for a car or truck. What means the most is hours of usage, and general condition. Were those "hard" hours? As in rode hard and put up wet, or were those "lovingly used" hours, where the tractor was well maintained and cared for and stored correctly. You could have a 400 hour rental machine that was trashed out, and a 4000 hour machine which looked and ran nicely.

Considering what I read in you're other threads concerning the garage queen, elderly owned with less than 200 hours on it. He is asking $12,500, IMO he isn't far off on what it's worth, the question is what is it worth to you? I would think it looks like a new tractor, if it does and you like it, it's probably worth in the 12K range. If you could get it for 11 grand, even better and I think you would be doing well if you did.
