What's a good deal on a new "X box" tractor?

I have always looked forward to reading about the different perspectives (and prices..) on buying a new tractor from the many members across the country on TBN.

But I haven't seen a lot of information from buyers of residential/commercial lawn tractors and mowers.

What is a good deal? 5% off the JD configurator --- 10, 15, 20?

Maybe I'm lookin' in the wrong forum --- but, I haven't seen the same level of discussions regarding the commercial/residential lawn tractors and mowers.

There's lot's of talk about CUT prices (across the country) and all the various attachments and what folk's paid for them.

But what's a good deal on the power blower/vacuum bagger on say the diesel X740 tractor?

My wife is very interested in something that she can use to even up the grass in the horse pasture, clean up under the electric fence line, etc.

dunno on that one. There are some good drag-behinds out there, that can be had for under $2k i seem to remember.

I usually get right around 15% on the JD stuff I have bought in the past.
