What's a 82" Farm King Buhler really worth? A little help please... thanks!

I've only had 4'-5' tillers and had no clue what these big boys sell for new (for the heavy duty ones). I have an 82" that came as a package deal with a tractor. The guy I bought it from buys anything that trips his trigger on a particular day... then the next day he's on to something else. I know this hasn't seen much use. I didn't think it was worth much more than the smaller ones until I did a little research and found the high quality tillers can pull $5-$6k for a new one. !?!?? I have zero interest sitting on things to get peak dollar but also don't want it stolen from me either. A little help on pricing would be great. Pics attached... thanks!!

Just that I have heard of slow selling wines "relabled and priced at twice the original price , sell "like hot cakes" .

Price it to the the moon, see what bites. If nothing, Try again at a lower (or HIGHER) price.
Buyers are a fickle lot.

Got it... crazy how things work. I have a buyer at $1500... I'm wondering it's worth $2000 to $2500. I may just dump it and call it good to be done after a few days. Thanks

You sound like a willing seller.

Think how the buyer will express himself with the wonderful deal. "these things are worth $5K or more!, I read so on the internet!"

Might be worth 2500, but it's hard to find a buyer for a 2500-dollar second-hand tiller (I would think). Around here, 50 hp and tillers don't go together. Might be wise to take the 1500 and be done. Or, you can wait for more money - might wait a while though.

I agree... that was my thinking regarding used stuff as well and will likely just let it go to get it outta here. Thanks
