What year is my MF 35

Just bought a MF 35. Was told it was a 1964 but what I can find says it痴 a 1962. The serial number is SGM 226472. Can some please tell me the year and what the other letters and numbers mean. Thanks in advance.

I'm assuming that yours is not a British-built 35 as you haven't provided information on where in the world you're from.
