What trailer do you tow your JD2520 with?

What trailer do you tow your JD 2520 with? I am thinking a 16' ( 14' w/2' dovetail ) would be fine for the tractor with loader and tiller based on measurements. Just not sure if it is long enough to adjust balance the load. Tractor with loader and 655 tiller should be around 3000#.

I have a JD 755 tractor, which is a bit shorter than your 2520. I tow it on a 18 ft (16 + 2 dove tail), double axle trailer and with the loader and 5 ft cutter the tail wheel hangs off just a bit when i have all properly balanced on the trailer. You may need at least 18 ft to get everything balanced.

I haul my 2520 TLB with a 7000# 18' dovetail.....lots of room for the added length of the hoe. I think a 16' would get the job done with a tiller in mind. Hauling with a brushhog attached would probably be an issue.

I run a 20' total (dovetail on 2') and I think it is perfect. It just let's me get most of the wait on the trailer axles and still have some room up front to keep the tonque wait correct. Most common for me would be tractor with ballast and loader and tiller strapped to front of loader, all on the trailer. I am sure an 18' would work, I just like having the extra room up front. I think a 16' would be gettgin too crowded with loader and a rear implement and you would start ending up with too much tongue weight once you got 'er on there...

My 2520 won't be delivered till next week. For the time being I haul my 855 on a 20' Rice trailer that tilts so no need for ramps. I'll use the same trailer for the 2520.
