What to do with 6hp B&S engine....

I have a 6 hp B&S engine, vertical shaft, currently on a cheapo pressure washer. I got tired of replacing the cheapo pump and bought a good DeWalt pressure washer. Now I am looking to re-purpose the B&S engine. I would like to make it into a portable air compressor to use around the ranch. The vertical shaft poses a problem for driving a oil-lubed single or dual cylinder air compressor in a compact package. Could possible mount an oil-less compressor under the engine but I thought the combined knowledge here could come up with better suggestions. I would like to keep it on the existing frame and wheels (maybe with modifications).

I would fit it up to an oilless pump and make a three point hitch farm air compressor, might be really handy and unaffected by angle and temperature.

On a engine project like you are thinking about I have found it goes one of 2 ways. I keep it clean and dry and try not think too hard and collect some more parts and wait. You will suddenly find the perfect match for the need, or it will sit in the corner for years.
I have a very large corner, but I have also turned out many projects.
