Tractor
Kubota B7500
I just joined but have been checking this site out for the last six months. I have decided to purchase a B7500 and was wondering what size rotory cutters, rear blades and other implements of destuction and construction should be used with this tractor. Thanks in advance.

The B7500 is a tough tractor.

I would go with a 4' Rotary Cutter.

I would go with a 5' Rear Blade. That would depend more on what you are going to do. If you are trying to dig hard packed clay than a 4' might be better. I would say the 5' is the best all around size.

I would go with a Kubota 302 FEL.

I would go with a Woods 6500 Backhoe or a Kubota 4672. If you are looking to get a backhoe.

Goodluck,
Dave

#1 attachment is a toothbar for the FEL. This is a must if you have a FEL.

#2 attachment is a box scrapper (4') for quickly removing top layers of soil then smoothing.

#3 is the rock (york) rake (6'). Great for removing rocks and brush. It prepares the soil for seeding and does a great job in driveway maintenance.

Have fun and be safe with your 7500. I love it. Perfect size for what I need.

I have just passed 50h on my 7500 and can share a little of my experience. I have a kubota BH and a bushog 4' boxscraper. I have used the box ten times as much as the BH so far and it is a great implement bang for buck. I am considering a 4' rotary cutter so I can do some clearing of brush and keep it down. Naturally I would like to have all implements but like you need to limit it to what I can get by with. Great tractor, I can do a lot more now with it per unit time than when I first got it.

I have a B7500 with a Woods 1006 FEL and I DON'T have a toothbar, as a matter of fact I ain't ever needed a toothbar, but then again I don't dig much, just tote or lift things.

I have a box blade that I never use, however I do have plans but I haven't had the time, er made the time to level the old ore diggings on the hill.

My 4' rotary cutter, a Fred Crain 104, ah, it's a jewel! Just be careful. I love bushhogging!

A 4' First Choice tiller. It's outstanding. I got one of the ones that had a bad paint job, but it'll flat out get the job done. Another great toy, er tool.

A carryall. If you tote things, you need one!

A 3pt receiver. I move around my 24' camper or my 6' utility trailer without hooking it to my truck. A great buy.

Then the 60" MMM. Life is good. It does a great job cutting the grass and is easy enough on/off. It's saved me days of mowing the past couple of years. I get done now in 2.5-3 hours on what used to take 5. I went from using 4 gallons of gas to about 2 gallons of diesel in the process.

The two smartest things I've ever bought have been my tractor and my RV.

If you check out my bio you can see the implements I've obtained for my 7500. There is ONE thing I would change and this is just my opinion.
I use my brush hog, dirt scoop and pallet mover/carry all alot so - the 60" mmm needs to be removed quite often. Let me say it's a pain. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif I would much rather have a 60" RFM so I could just back up and attach it like the rotary cutter. The mmm does do a good job though.

With a FEL the MMM removes easily.

I put my MMM on and off once a week, nothing to it with the FEL. Just drive up to it and drop the bucket over it and lift the front wheels and roll it under...it rolls easily front to back, it's trying to shove it in from the side that's a pain. I can attach/detach it much faster than I can swap out the box blade for the RFM and back again on the 3-point

i have a rfm for the b2400 and i like it fine. in my particular situation the rfm is the way to go, but all needs are diff. what is great for one will often be not so good for another. nice to see another BUFFALO N.Y AREA GUY.

Do you have a picture of how high you have to lift it with the FEL to roll it under? I'm waiting for my FEL but it seems like I'd have to really lift the front wheels to be able to roll the 72 inch deck under my B2910. I know it can be done, but I'd like to see how high I have to lift it.

Dave
