Oil & Fuel what power steering fluid for 73 ford 3000

I would like to know if anyone can tell me what size belt and what power steering fluid goes in and on my tractor.? I just purchased it last week.

The manual says the power steering reservoir is filled with Ford Oil M2C-92-A or SAE 10W. This manual being 40+/- years old, I'm not sure how that translates to current oil. But it's a place to start, right? I usually call my local New Holland dealer and they translate for me.

Side note: You can pick up a decent manual on ebay for about eight bucks.

I'd replace it with a synthetic power steering fluid. Have done this on all my vehicles over time.

New Holland 134 hydraulic oil, or an oil meeting the current 134 spec. Same oil you want to use in the transmission and rear axle/hydraulic reservoir. Motor oil, 134 and antifreeze are the three fluids you need for your 3000.

Thanks guys I put ford automatic trans fluid in it but ill change.

unless the pump is shot. it will steer with atf fluid in it.

I know guys that have a leaky pump that run atf for $$ reasons. it certaintly won't kill it.

I prefer utf myself.
