What paint do you use to match Kubota orange?

Where do you buy paint and what brand to keep your buckets orange?

I have used Majic(Yenkin-Majestic Paint Corp.) on my older Kubotas from a local farm supply store as the Kubota dealer is 30+ miles away. The lid says Kubota orange and the match was not bad. I have read on the forum about using Chevrolet orange but have not used that myself. My new B3030 seems to be a little brighter maybe it's just new.

I just welded a hook on the front bucket of my brand new L4400 with FEL and the Tractor Supply brand "New Kubota Orange" matched perfectly.

go to local hardware store that mixes paint take a quarter size paint chip they can match it.

I've used Allis Chalmers orange from the local hardware store and found it to be pretty close... enough to touch up the FEL bucket before winter.

My wife insists I need a new Kabota because the colors are all faded on my 10 year old one compared to the new ones displayed at the dealer. Is it sinful to not tell her the colors changed and also to agree with her about needing one?

If you can get your wife to agree to a new Kubota because the paint is faded, then I'd suggest that you follow her suggestion and go buy one. No sacrifice should be too great to maintain marital bliss... ;-)

For touch up painting, the Rustoleum orange is reasonably close to the Kubota orange. It is good paint for preventing rust, which is kinda important. Not a perfect match, though, but widely available.
