What Kind of Welds are these?

Can hardly see a bead. Tail gate hinges.

I don't know, but I think that is some sort of machine spot weld where the pieces are brought together charged to different polarity's. Just guessing, but that is what I think.

I don't think you'd see a fillet weld with a spot weld, James...

Although it looks like a nice TIG weld, that's not too common for production welding.
So, I'm thinking it's MIG done robotically.

Could be forge welded. Maybe even solider just because of the differnt colors. But I have seen tig welds that small and even smaller too. When i was in high school my teacher had a small metal fuel filter with a tig weld so small on the screen that you had to have a magnifying glass just to see that it was welded.

Working in a food plant we have to be pretty strict about welds on our equipment. I've seen tig welds so good that one could hardly tell a weld was there. This weld looks like a tig weld.
