What kind of seeder/spreader lawn maintenance

The admiral had me convert a two acre field into lawn. I borrowed a spreader/seeder to plant grass.

I have a small 12 gallon home made sprayer with a boom that I have used for weed control along our road.

I am interested in getting a spreader/seeder to use in maintaining the lawn. I've looked at Earthway, Precision, Southern States, and Agrifab. I know I don't need a 3 point one unless I can find a used one at a terrific price.

What do the fine folks of TBN Kubota recommend? I will pull it with my L2850 or Scagg ZTR.

I have the larger 2 wheel TSC tow behind spreader(175 pounds payload?) is the way to go with this and it will not break your budget.

The controls are out of the path of the fertiliser and cleaning is a dream.

I have an agrifab tow behind, holds over 100 pounds got it at Fleet Farm on sale works very well.

I love my Lesco spreader and I would not use a Southern States since my wife works from there..

I dislike speaders for tractors since the controls, well sucks.

This is one of my favorite implements and also my brother next door loves it. Ferguson overseeder that will last forever but does require a 3ph.

I used my dad's old Van Brunt drill several years ago to over seed my yard. Results were outstanding but the biggest drawbacks are finding a decent one for a decent price plus the size. The 7" row spacing can be overcome with cross-drilling but they are quite large and work well in areas that do not have lots of trees. Just a thought.
