As i have a new tractor appearing within the next month, and a few new implements showing up as well, I started to wonder if there was anything else I should look in to. Yes, I realize it is job - specific, but I thought a general thread might be even more useful.
For a FRONT implement my WR Long Grapple rake is something I wish I had purchases earlier (and i've had it for 8 years or so). Moving rocks, brush, logs, picking up implements, moving objects strapped to it, hanging barn doors, it is the most useful tractor attachment I own.
For a REAR implement I'd guess my Woods Landscape offsetting Landscape rake gets the award. I used to have a Leinbach, which is a nice rake, but I'm amazed how much better the Woods works (even without the offsetting feature). It's a rake! How different can it be? But the results speak for themselves.
I also have an offsetting back blade, a box blade, a replacement brush hog coming (had a Woods Brush Bull, will have a Deere MX6 going forward), and one implement new to me - a Land Plane. I also have access to a post hole digger which is admittedly great for digging when you need it, but I'm happy to be able to borrow it and not own it as I'd use it so infrequently.
So, what implements can't you live without?
