I found this in a hedge along my father in laws property line. Never seen one before but im guessing it is a drag of sorts? Thanks for any insite you all may have...

It would be really great for busting clumps and preparing the soil for planting, especially if there happens to be a sprocket attached to the ends that are hard to see and a chain drive connecting them. As the larger front one rolls it would drive the rear at a faster rate and do a better job of slashing and finishing. There was a company marketing this idea at some point, I don't know their name or where they were from. I also couldn't really tell how wide it is from the picture.

rockinmywaypa, there are no sprockets on it but surprisingly enough after an estimated 25 plus years it still rotates when pulled....About 5ft is the width.

studor, luckily found while walking and not bushhogging. Would make a mess though.

Thanks for the replies if I find any manufacture name or numbers I will post it but opening day of shotgun season is tommorrow so it may be a while.....
