I want to replace the hoses on my hydro side link and the fitting on the link end is shown.
MNPX threads into the elbow fitting on the link but it has a flat face not lipped link these.
Anybody know?

The elbow looks like a female BSP fitting. Can't say the size without measuring but maybe 3/8"? BSP fittings uses a 60 degree taper to seal.

Your micrometer is your friend on this one, and both an SAE and metric thread gauge if you have them. Look it up here;

What is it off of? Your m6040 Kubota? Komatsu, for instance, uses a special variant for its fittings.

They are a flare fitting, and look like a JIC 37 degree from a thousand miles away, but you need to measure carefully as there are some sizes that have metric close to SAE/JIC and close to BSPP. I just went through this with a new to me attachment that had fittings that were almost a bunch of things. In the end, they turned out to be BSPP (British Standard Parallel Pipe), which can in an o-ring version that looks a lot like an SAE o-ring/ORB, but isn't.

All the best,

Peter

JIC uses a 37° flair seat.

Those are inverted. And since its here in the states, BSPP is not too common.

I would concur with /pine that they are NPSM, which are pretty common here in the states.

If you have a handful of regular old pipe fittings, you can try them and match up to figure what size they are. (or just measure them). But Im pretty confident they are NPSM. And they require no tape or sealer either
