If top (marked) is strong enough, a screw eye each end, wire across with piece of rubber hose, hang over tree limb.
Or pipe flange on bottom, about 2" pipe.

One thing I have found helpful when setting out bluebird boxes is to mount the box on a section of heavy EMT. Then I drive a T-post into the ground and simply slide the conduit with the box down over the T-post.

I mounted my bird feeder via the flange method; used about 5' of gas pipe and put a flange on the bottom also, to provide stability without cementing it in.

I too used the galvanized flange and galvanized iron pipe. I used my old satellite dish turned dish-down on the pole to keep squirrels from climbing up it. Just used some worm hose clamps above and below the dish to hold it there but it lets it tip if something tries to grab the edge to climb up. Has worked well for years.
