Good points. The 8N is due for some serious motor work and I feel as though I would be throwing my money into something were it would be better spent. Plus, I got lucky and the wife wants something she can use to and she doesn't like the 8N. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

My relative, who is a Century dealer, just quoted me $11,500 on a 2003 new Century 2535 with industrial tires, which seems like a reasonable price. I may just break down and get that or a 3040 when he gets me the price on that.

You could do much worse!! They look to be fine machines, good support, and you still get to show yer face at family gittogethers!!!

I've seen the centurys and they look pretty decent. You might want to consider the JD 990 too, it is in that same neighborhood without FEL and 40hp (35 pto).

Take a look at Mahindra. Several units in 35 HP range and with current rebates you can get close to $10,000. If you can do without the 4WD, you defintely can.
