I need some help with blade, What is it used for? How is it different than a Box Blade. All I have is two photos no brand or model number. Seller is out of town until later this week. Any info would be appreciated.

Here is the description from the seller.
It's a heavy-duty 7 ft. scraper box. It is a roll over model with two full cutting edges. It also has a tool bar that would accommodate up to 7 ripper shanks.

Doc,
It is a roll over box blade.

On a 110 I would go with a Gannon if you have the rear outlets on it. A new or used 7ft Gannon would be a good match for your tractor with topntilt hydraulics. I don't have pictures of mine on the 110 but I bought them together new and used this combination before getting the 4520.

A box blade & box scraper are the same thing, just a different name.

A rollover box blade works more or less like a normal box blade, only you pull a lever to scrape forwards, backwards, or use the ripper teeth. They tend to be heavier, beefier & stronger than a normal box blade.

It is a Rollover Box Blade. They are designed for use on tractors without rear remote hydraulics. They are quite a bit heavier per foot of width than a 'standard' box blade and therefore more expensive.

You can pull dirt, smooth dirt, push dirt to the rear in a limited fashion and rip with the scarifiers down.

ROBB's require less adjustment in use, relative to a 'standard' box blade.

ROBB's make excellent ballast on your Three Point Hitch.

Makers: Bush Hog, Dirt Dog, A-B Eagleline, Woods/several brands; maybe others.

I have purchased replacement generic scarifiers, cheap, from Agri-Supply. Unfortunately, shipping is about equal to cost of scarifiers.

A VALUE PRICE on a 7' ROBB, incomplete because it does not have scarifiers, would be $600.

You will probably need to spray lithium grease onto the two latches, four latch blocks and latch bar pivots. Also, spray two latch-lever return springs with spray lithium grease to prevent rust and failure. All easy to do.

Yes I do have the rear outlets on my tractor. I would like to buy the Gannon blade but used ones are hard to find. I took some photos of what I need the blade for. I would like to level the field so could plant some grass, after I rip out the rest of the autumn olive trees. It is difficult to see in the photos but the ground is a mess.

Light Box Blades are available used because they do not work, so people dispose of them.

Construction grade Box Blades last, so they are not often available used until worn out.

This ROBB is right in the middle and desirable. TnT works fine with a ROBB; just not essential.

Someone has slopped paint on it. You need a visit to determine if owner-paint is hiding structural flaws.

After a closer look at the photos, I can see what looks like paint on the ground! I don't know how I missed that!!! Thanks jeff9366.

There's another blade that I am thinking about, it's 72" x 24" with 6 shanks, no name on the blade model BB6. My plan is to used this blade until I can get my hands on a good use 7 ft Gannon

Keep in mind Gannon, under the Gannon family, made the highest quality ROBB's. ROBBs are what made Gannon's reputation.
