I've about 5,000 sq ft of shed space plus two houses with fair sized basements. I need chairs. I figure I need about 20 (or 30). I tried plastic resin stack chairs from Walmart, they WERE about $5@ and worked well. I could easily stack them, they cleaned easily. I could put 1 or several in the FEL bucket to carry with me when I and others worked in the woods. But after about 6 years they all started to break up.
Over the same time I've had metal folding chairs, usually about $10@. Their downside was corrosion and bending. I've tried folding cloth type "camp chairs", they didn't work for me and my relatives. Our son has a teenager who's 6'3" and still growing. (I'm only 6'2").
Over the same time period I've had a "Lifetime" brand plastic folding chair. That seems to fill the bill. Very sturdy, has lasted 10 years. But I figure there are other chairs in the same price range out there.
Sams club has a variant of the Lifetime that seems pretty good (here) for $22 plus tax. And I'm testing 2 now, but I need a bunch more, 5 of Walmart resin chairs died this year.
So does the TBN community have any recommendations for something in the same price range before I buy a bunch of lifetimes?
