What if you could design a TC?

agree with everything Dylan! They are not major complaints, just ways to improve ergonomics. I never use the speed between work and rabbit - either need to have control/work mode or moving to a different work site/rabbit. i wish the button on the direction handle would go from rabbit to work. a few more hp is always handy too.

i totally agree that the snowblower shoot rotation should be adjusted on the joystick - it would be easy, just a little more expensive. the joystick only controls one function. a 2 function joystick would be easy to add. this would also be handy with broom rotation!

overall i am very happy with the tc. my 72inch 240 bobcat blower got a new set of higher output motors and is much, much happier.

the biggest advantage, besides easy switching and mutlitude of attachments, is the finess and manuverablility of the tc. i can work with
attachments very near buildings. i can back drag from garage doors with the bucket and get inches from the doors without feeling i will hit them. in work mode it is so easy to inch forward as the tc will brake instantly with release of the footpedal. visibility is also excellent. the tc turns so well that i now do several of the garage doors perpendicular to the doors - much faster and easier. in these respects it has outperformed my expectations. I also can now change attachements in literally minutes. the bucket takes about 20 seconds to put on. no climbing out of the skid steer. putting 3x's more hours on the tc vs my cab tractor (sold).

This has been mentioned at some point before but I'd like to see a three point hitch on the back. Draging a box blade would be handy for clearing driveways.
3ph implements are commonly found and cheaper.

I'll wait to see if the D series has it, if not I'll build one.

What can be done with a compact tractor that cannot be achieved by a TC? What can a TC accomplish that a compact tractor cannot? I don't see many of these around the area and wonder how many people are buying these to replace compact tractors or UTV's. I wonder if they are more geographically located. Where are people from that own these machines?

See this link "Toolcat Owners by Location":

This probably needs to be updated, with lots of new owners coming on board...
