Went down to Dave's tractor and got the filters to do my first 50 hour service on my 2615 and found out a few things.
1- next time I will take the loader off, kinda a pain working around it.
2- It is really hard not to make some sort of mess.
3- If you lay down two short lengths of 2x12 and drive over it with one of the rear wheels it is real easy to fit a 5 gallon bucket under the transmission plug.
4- didn't have the correct size filter wrench for the engine oil filter but a set of channel lock pliers worked well.
5- these things are actually pretty easy to work on and the manual has good instructions on what to do.
Not as expensive as I thought $100 for the fuel, trans, hydraulic and engine filters and another $50 in fluids.
I also remember why I take my truck to the quicky lube place, it is just much easier and convenient not to mention tractors have a lot of fluid and filters that will need to be recycled.
