Hi eveyone, well I did it. My new 2210 will be delivered Friday and they are picking up my x475 that I traded. Just wondering what if any problems you guys have had with the 2210. I have read about the leaking and I think deere has fixed that in the newer models. Correct me here if I am wrong.

TIA
Bob

about 27 hours. Problems--not enough attachments yet (purchased that is!), and not enough good weather to go out and play/work.

I had the dreaded hyd leak at the back (fixed by dealer).

The loader did not sit level with the ground - dealer answer was "no problem found". Switched from turfs to R1's and discovered that the rear turfs are slightly different sizes, now the tractor sits nice and level (yes I tried pressure changes in the turfs).

The 62C deck gearbox is very noisy/whiney. There is an isololation kit available, new decks might have it already? I switched to synthetic gearbox lube and it did quiet it down a bit.

One year, 4 seasons, 60 hours, no other problems, I love my little CUT.

105 Hours here. Only one problem here. The front pivot was improperly installed. Pick up and delivery was free. Just got a new tiller last week. Awesome. I too agree that it won't do everything but, when everything is done it will be a mowing machine.

47 hours and 8 months of use. No problems at all.
Complaints? Well, I need to get more weight out back, because when lifting big loads (53" bucket) the front tires get a bit squashed, even at fiull pressure. The steering gets a little tight too. Oh yea, then there's the pucker factor, which I have gotten way too used to.
I also am having a hard time finding an affordable post hole digger for it. I think I'll post that one in a separate thread.
I wish they had the folding ROPS as an option when I bought mine. I really want it, but it'll have to wait until I do enough mowing that it drives me crazy enough to get it.

50.8 hrs and I have had no problems. I have been watching for the common oil leak. it seems to be a little wet there but can tell for sure. Turf tires are on it now because i use it mainly for mowing. but will probably buy R1's. only other thing is weight for the back of the tractor when lifting heavy stuff you would have that with any tractor.

<font color="green">Up to 89 hours on my 2210.

I had the dreaded top link hinge plate leak but the dealer seems to have resolved that problem by resealing it. My front end is making a squeeking sound that may be coming from the pivot point. I think Hambone started a thread about that some time ago.

I have the bar tires and it didn't take long before the front tires got punctured by thorns. Some tire sealant did the trick. Haven't used any sealant in the rears but need to get to that one of these days.

Of course the mower height adjustment knob on my 2210 needed adjusting before it would turn a full 360 degrees. Another common 2210 problem.

Under the hood the fuse box cover was cracked. I have noticed that the air intake pipe has been rubbing on the underside of the hood above the radiator area and has already rubbed through the paint.

I have the 210 loader and it did not come with the hanger that attaches to the operator platform to support the hydraulic hoses. Either the dealer didn't install it or it was never shipped or lost in shipment. The dealer ordered the hanger for me when I discovered it was missing.

<font color="green">I remembered one more very minor problem I had with my 2210.

When I changed the oil filter for my tractor's 50 hour service I noticed the nut underneath the filter was loose. It's the nut that holds the pneumatic pressure valve in place for the filter to screw onto.

Like I said it was a minor problem but something to watch for none-the-less.

hi

I've got about 50 hours and my biggest problem is the garage is full and no more room to buy any attachments. The only minor problem I've noticed is the front grill sits on a couple of pins and the holes are wearing from the vibration, one of these days I'll probably put some kind of rubber gromets in there.

I see your gettting the 72 inch rake and blade, my feeling is these are a bit large for this tractor unless the blade is for light snow only. I've got the 72 inch Frontier landscape rake, the 3pt pick up points are so high that I could not pick up the rake high enough, I had to modify a quick hitch to give me enough lift. You can shorten the top link enough to give you the lift but then the rake sits at an angle and digs in too deep. I wish I would have gotten a 5 foot one.

For who ever was looking for a post hole digger, the one Tractor Supply sells works good. I think it was make by SpeeCo, would have to look for sure. The auger doesn't have much clearance from the ground but it does clear. Last year it was around 350, think I got it onsale for 300 and 100 for the auger. Haven't drilled a lot of holes but it seems well made for 400 bucks.
