That may be true of current models but I don't think it's true for 2013. When I bought a DK40SE HST back 2010 the "SE" was an entirely different tractor from the frame up compared to a standard DK40, it just happened to be similar in size and Kioti named it confusingly. At the time, a regular DK40 was gear only, and the SE was HST-only.
OP: I found my DK-SE to be a high quality tractor with no real downsides, and I kinda wish I still owned it.
Price-wise, $25k seems high for that model at 5+ years old even with a cab, but 100 hours is barely used so it may somewhat balance out. However, you could get a brand new Kioti with a cab for only a little more, looking at the current DK series (which is again a totally different tractor!), or for another $5K looking at an NX, which is the most similar current model to a 2013 DK-SE but is a slightly larger frame.
