What does the \"S\" mean on a Century tractor?

That darn S is all over: the center of the steering wheel, conter of the rubber floor panel, center of the grill, and probably other places I haven't noticed yet!!!

Good question, it's also on the Branson as well.

Gentleman
I do not know the answer but I can tell you Kukje is owned by the largest steel mfg. in Korea and maybe that has something to do with it. I will see if I can get a more definitive answer.

Maybe this is where the "S" comes from (found on the Kukje website):

The S is sort of like Kubotas wheat heads and gear, and like the Bulls head they use too. Just a product identifier so they can tell their Branson/Century parts from the John Deere parts in their factory and keep them from getting too mixed up.

Hey Deere took over an entire color,,, I think the "S' is pretty minor, LOL.

I don't think it's an S. I think it has something to do with the ying and yang. Look at the Korean flag and you'll see what I mean. It's probably just a company logo like the bowtie on a Chevy.

Nope, it's an S. Check out the center of this Branson steering wheel:

On the other hand, it prolly is just their coporate logo:

Hey, I thought I recognized the brush pile in that picture! That one is burned and replaced by another. As far as the "S" question.....you are starting to sound like Henro...and some of the questions he poses. Heck, I just drive it. Never wondered what the S is.
