Check your front axle fluid level. There has been several threads on this topic. Mine was a quart low after using it a little.

As a non-welder, I was happy to ask for a set of hooks to be welded onto the top of the bucket for attaching chains, ropes etc. The old tractor had them and they're used all the time. (the bigger hooks on the old tractor were easier to use than the slightly smaller version I got on the new one...)

I have a BX25 which I use more than any of the other tractors I've owned. I've had several bigger ones and even one smaller one (BX1500) well maybe 2 smaller ones. (BX2200).
Agree on attaching a hook on the top center of your bucket. Some people do 2 hooks but I only have one.
The BX25 has a company installed cover plate on the bottom which the previous models did not have so you may or may not want to add more plates. I had a toothbar and never used it but I've bought RatchetRakes for my different sized tractors and for me (landscaping) it it the most used and easiest installed and removed implement I own.
You need to give more description of your land (level,sloping,drop off cliffs, treed, rocky) and what your plans are for the land before a reasonable tractor owner should tell you what to buy for your tractor. If your financing it you need to decide before final contracts are signed so you can add implements to the interest free contract.
Did your tractor dealer not make any suggestions? The BX25 does not come with 3ph arms. They are an extra $250 which may have already been added but if not you need to decide if you want 3ph use with your tractor or not.

If you plan on doing your own oil changes for the BX, you can save yourself a lot of aggravation by buying a cap-style oil filter wrench with the size depicted. This way you won't have to mess with removing the guard, hood, and loader when you change the filter. You simply put it on the end of a ratchet extension; and go right in.
You'll like your BX25; they are like little pit bulls.

Buy Performance Tools Standard Filter Wrench W54050 at Advance Auto Parts_____
This is the tool I use to remove oil filter on all of my equipment/tractors. It will fit over the Kubota filter without removing side panels or does for me. The harder you pull the tighter it gets.

That may protect the HST fan, but there is more under that machine that is vulnerable. In my case, tall grass wrapped the drive shaft, snagged the wiring harness, and ripped it out. It the process, the radiator fan and shroud were also damaged.
I may be the only one around here who's had that fun experience, but I'd vote for as much protection as possible.

The BX25 is different than the BX24. Kubota installed a plate covering the bottom on the BX25 that was not on the previous BX models. Don't know if they did it with all BX##60 models or just the BX25 and I'm not sure if the early run BX25 had it. Mine does. Maybe Kubotas late resolution for the HST fan issue.
I guess a plate could be made to cover the entire bottom of the BXs but I'm thinking air flow has to be of some value which will require some openings and any opening will be a place for that one in a million stick to get in.
Those with 60 series BXs look under your tractor and see what protection you already have for the fan. 50 series and before should probably take some precautions if they don't keep a MMM on the tractor or are sometimes in woody area. You grass mowers shouldn't have to be to concerned.
Wow great info guys, I will be using this tractor as a utility machine at our lake. We have a sizeable yard and some gravel road to maintain along with brush and misc. I also plan to use this tractor in the winter for clearing snow. I have the following options ordered with my tractor, block heater, turf tires and 54" mower deck. I will also be adding the Bro-Tech plates but I'm really curious as to what box blade I should consider and any opinions as to the rear or frount mounted snow blower?
I was supposed to pick up my tractor today but the dealer called me last night and said it wouldnt be ready until mid-next week, I guess they are short staffed (like many businesses here). So I need to wait another week and its killing me.

Too bad about the extra wait. You'll enjoy it more when it gets there.
I prefer a rear blower for my tractor. It was cheaper, easier to hook up and still gives me the ability to stack snow or haul firewood with the bucket.

If you complete a search on here, there is a lot of information on front vs rear snowblowers. It comes down to things like length of driveway, amount of snow, money, and your physical abilities (looking over your shoulder). Sorry to hear about the wait.
