WHAT COMPANY MANUFACTURES FRONTIER?

Does anyone know what company manufactures the Frontier line of box scrapers for John Deer?

For a time it was Rhino. Not sure if that is still true. Rhino has been bought out now, and is now part of the Alamo Group (I believe). So if the Deere Frontier line comes from Alamo, not sure.

I think my Frontier boxblade is made by Woods/Gannon.

Might depend on the model you are inquiring about too.

I was under the impression that frontier was a combo of woods/gannon and rhino. Some of the overseeders just looked like a woods overseeder painted green. Some of the tillers look "woody" too

My Frontier rear blade is made by Woods; but I suspect Deere/Frontier sources implements from various manufacturers based on specification, availability and price.

As for who makes the box scrapers for Deere/Frontier, I don't know.

Woods, Alamo Group, Landpride and H&S are some of the manufacturers that supply Frontier branded implements to Mother Deere. As for the box blade, I don't know for sure.

My Frontier BB1048L (low profile 48inch box blade) is a Woods, the warantee section of the manual says Woods all over it. Also, the part number listed in the manual for the i-match bushing kit is a Woods part number (when the bushings arrived at the dealer the box had a Woods logo on it).

What day of the week is it? I'm not really serious with that comment, though Deere has used various compaines over time. I've never seen a Frontier implement that wasn't good quality though!

My frontier box blade is really well built.

Thanks guys. I thought Woods was one of the companies involved. I'd like to buy a Woods, but they're hard to get in central Ca. I may just have to get the Frontier.
