I wish to relocate 6 full pallets of excess bricks.
I have a 3-point pallet fork attachment, however, my tractor does not have sufficient power to lift the pallet.

Short of removing, say half of the bricks from each of pallet, are there other suggested methods to move these pallets?
1. Is there a set of wheels perhaps that I could affix to the pallet forks or the pallets themsleves?
2. Is there a "sled" type attachment that might attach to the pallet whereby I could then drag it?
3. Etc.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

How far we talking, How many pallets? Do you just want them moved or stacked like on the pallet originally.

IF you have a loader dump them in the bucket and re-stack them. Stacking is easier than carrying them . If you don't need them stacked, just fill up the bucket and dump them at their new location.

You could dump them in a Metal Cement mixing tub, the big ones, they look like a barge upside down.

Hire some local kids they could use the money.

Need more info. ...but that's all I got.

If you can lift half the pallet you could put a skid or old water ski under that side, then do the other side, and drag it. The skids may require some way to tie them together or to the pallet if you are doing much turning or rough ground.

Or get 6 more pallets and offload half a pallet onto each.

I simply remove 1/3 of the bricks and restack them on another pallet, making three partial pallets out of two full pallets. For just six pallets this is about as fast as anything else.

You stated in another thread that you have a 575 D backhoe. Does it not have a loader? You stated that your tractor does not have sufficient power to lift the pallets. Is the tractor experiencing mechanical problems? If your machine is running correctly, you should have more than ample HP to move the pallets. Unless you are stacking the pallets on top of each other, there is no need to raise the pallet very high. Just a thought?

If you can back under and at the same time ride the front wheels up a wheel ram, when you pull forward, if you have enough weight in the front, it'll go down and the rear forks will go up enough to move. A steep ramp helps lessen how much the forks will pull out of the load. I'never done this on the back but it works on the front. Unless.... the load's waay heavy and then you'll get flattened tires or a wheelie. I my case it was a backward's wheelie - way fun.

Sounds like a perfect excuse to buy a bigger tractor.

A visa card and the phone number of the local rental yard.

Get a skid steer with pallet forks.

Watch out for lift capacity, many brick pallets are loaded to 3000+ lbs.

The OP is a new member and created 5 new threads in 12 hours. Those are the only posts. It doesn't seem plausible that the posts are real. ...buying a house and need to move a tree, having a free fall and bash someone's eye then waiting for a come-along at 11:28pm. Doesn't this look like SPAM?
