The tractor is a L4300DT......L682 FEL....

On the top of the loader control valve, there are two ports. The two ports are in the middle of the 4 QD fittings.

What are these two ports?

If they are what I think they are, they are the plugs that hold in the load checks.

( if those ports are what you think they are, that would NOT? be the place to add a hydraulic winch?)

Those are NOT work ports to connect to additional hydraulic accessories. They are the plugs that hold in the load checks.

If you want remotes you need to connect a completely separate valve in series with the loader valve. Instructions on how to do this have been posted dozens of times. Do a search for rear remotes and you will find them.

I posted about this before (read down a few threads 'about to install a hydraulic winch, but where?"

I have already bought a control valve to run the winch, all I need is simple in and out. I did a search for rear remotes, but I think it is more than I need.

A poster in the other thread said something about a power beyond kit, but I went to my local dealer and asked but they seemed oblivious.

Thanks for the help

You were given good advice in that other post about the winch.

You need what is normally called a rear remote which is 2 connections that come from a valve's work ports. A power beyond kit as such does not exist for your tractor. A kit might be available for a backhoe but you will have to go to the dealer for that.

To make what you want work right you need to have an aux valve with power beyond and connect it in series with the loader valve and plumb the tank line with the loader's tank line as I explained above. There are no other easier ways to do what you want unless you want to disconnect one of the loader functions (lift or curl) and run those hoses back to your winch.

ps. fill out your profile and maybe you will get some additional help and information.

OK, thanks for the advice....

BTW, I plan to put the winch on t he front of the tractor...

I did a search for remotes and found that they are expensive. Much more than I thought.......not to mention that they go to the rear while Im trying to hook this up to the front......

Thanks for the advice......I guess I will have to give my dealer a call......
