Let me preface this by saying - aside from the JD 4310 my pop owns - my tractor hydraulic sound experience is limited to 8N's and pair of old pre-Toro Wheel Horses (no hyro's here).
So here are some questions I have amassed in the last few hours in the seat of my BX24:
1 - how "hot" is normal for the hydraulic connectors that attach on the rear to the BH. When I go to re-attach the BH after mowing - the metal couplers are hot enough to burn me.
2 - when using the BH (completely new implement to my experiences) - how much noise is "normal" when you hit the full extension range of any one of the pistons.
3 - how much noise (that whine sorta sound from the tranny) is normal when driving the tractor around?
I realize "normal" is tough to define... I'm just looking for some perspective on this. I think everything is normal, just wanting to make sure! Aside from the sounds (which just scare me since they are new) this little monster works like a champ.
