Hi all,
I've been away for a few years. After being my wife's Primary Care Giver as she survived stroke, then breast cancer (though there's a second, not so scary surgery we've been putting off, re: that) as I say, I've been away from all things Kubota (except I've kept up with my KTAC policy payments). So, no time for tractoring.
So...we're (finally) beginning to see ourselves getting closer to moving to the place we bought, years ago, with the barn and garage. The Kubota is not here yet, but will be making the trip this summer. Unfortunately, the garage doors are only 6' 11 and 3/16" tall. IIRC, my fatory-cabbed, 2012 B3000, with or without the 7.7' BH, is 7' tall--does that sound right? (I'm not co-located with the Kubota right now.)
My neighbor (a future Kubota owner, I'm sure) is convinced there is a FACTORY-cabbed version of the BX--I was skeptical and finally went on the Kubota site, just now, and I can't find one--did I miss it?
EDIT: I got (slightly) smarter and "built" a BX2680, and I see now that a HEATED, but not Air-conditioned, DEALER-installed (factory-accessory) cab IS available: "1 DELUXE CAB (DEALER INSTALLED) $4,679.00 (BX4070)"
So...is there any way to get a BX's cab AIR-CONDITIONED?
If the only option for an Air-conditioned cab is a B-series, what is the shortest, FACTORY-cabbed B-model, with heat and A/C?
I also saw some smallish-looking, new B-model Kubotas, outside the local dealer, with cabs, and they looked surprisingly lower than my B3000. But admittedly, I don't see my B3000 much, and it looks enormous inside it's 20', 9.5' tall, shipping container, which it comes **** close to filling, lengthwise, what with the FEL and hoe attached.
Thank you all, and it's good to be back, even briefly.
