I noticed that on the bottom of the wet brake housing there is a drain plug. When you drain your hydraulic fluid is the fluid pulled out of the wet brake case or do you have to drain each side seperatly?
Much thanks, Dick

Probably drain each side.

My FX28D takes the fluid from the transmission. There is a drain plug on each side of what I would call the master cylinder. I guess you drain it there. The manual I have for a 336 shows completely different set up--so it was no help. The japanese parts manual show my parts, but of course doesn't tell me what to do.

It is a mechanically activated wet brake system. There is no brake fluid. If
it was hydraulically activated like a car it would use brake fluid. to
engage it. Cars use dry brakes . Most large tractors use a wet system with
multiple plates The fluid dissipates the heat better than air.
