Western Suburbanite plow

Can anyone tell me if the cutting edge on the Suburbanite is considered reversable. I have looked at Westerns web-site and could not find any mention of this in any of their literature. Looking at it I would guess it is not but am hoping someone with more knowledge can confirm or deny this.

I bought this from a person that had it on his JD2305 and as you see by the picture it is getting kind of worn on the ends. May not look fancy but it works and thats what is important to me.

I have a similar plow for my tractor with same blade wear, which isn't bad IMO.
I'll have to look at mine later. But just look and see if there's enough blade on top of the bolts, I'm guessing not from your picture.

That plow looks a little oversized for that tractor, do you get heavy snow?

They are not reversible. There is still lots of life in that cutting edge, 1000' of miles of plowing.

If it bothers your take a grinder to the center and even it out. May take a hour but will only cost you a few beers and a few grinding wheels.

A reversable cutting edge will have holes punched in the middle of the edge.

Normally no but it does happen on occasion. I also have a Ariens 824 snow blower so between the two pieces and having flat ground I hope it doesn't cause a problem.

Plow is 6' 8" and 21" high but only weighs 250 lbs so weight wise it is a good fit.

I have used it twice now since Christmas and other than chattering from no wear shoes it has worked well. Working on fabbing some wear shoes so that problem should go away.
