Hello,
I've found several interesting post on this forum and decided to sign up. I also belong to a John Deere forum. One thing that drew me in was the great post by 3RRL. I hope to add grade wheels to my box blade and will use a few ideas from his version.
I grew up on a farm with John Deere tractors and have owned John Deere lawn tractors since I was married in 1975 (110, 216, 314 and now a restored 318). A few years ago, we purchased 5 wooded acres with a pond, so I needed more help that a the 318 could provide. I found a 2007 John Deere 3520 with loader and am very happy with it. I have since purchased a stump grubber with grapple, front forks, 5' tiller, box blade and a 72" JD mower deck.
Last summer/fall, I built a 30x42' barn completely by myself (other than the concrete flat finish work). The 3520 was an amazing help in that project. I'll include a few photos below.

I built the rafters at my house shop and moved them across the road to the new barn location
I built a boom on the forks to lift the rafters into place. I had ropes to each side to guide them from the tractor seat.
