Well, we got our tractor today. We were considering a 3525, but after driving the 2 back to back, we went with the 3510. I think we got a pretty good price, $16,690 with the FEL. I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow, I've got some dirt to move. Pictures to come later if I can figure out how to post them.

Just got in from spending 9 hours on the tractor today. The advice to get 4WD with a FEL is good. The 4WD pulled me out of a couple of sticky situations today that I don't think would have worked with 2WD. A few observations about the little tractor.

-You can actually lift the back wheels off the ground with the FEL full of damp clay.

-You can scare the poop out of yourself the first time you do it. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

-That little joker can pull really hard.

-I think I'll use the FEL more than I imagined.

-The shuttle shift is great for the type of work I'll be doing. It's a little sticky going into reverse sometimes, but It will probably loosten up as it wears in a little.

Overall I'm very pleased with our purchase. I think we'll get a lot of use out of it.

Holy smokes you can't keep dressing like that, don't you know we have snow on the ground up here and you are making us very crazy

Those are 2 of my 3 sons. We needed to dress like that, it was 80 degrees and humid. It's a little more seasonable 55 today. My boys, who have never seen more than half an inch of snow in their lives, would love to see some of the white stuff. Until they had to shovel some that is.

Nice look'n rig. Hope it treats you well.

What I have found with most tractor/fel combos is the lift itself is seldom strong enough to lift the rear wheels, the bucket curl will. The first time it happens it is a quite high pucker factor as measured by the **** sphinkter scale. Next time keep a box blade or brush hog on and it will keep things loose. ;-)

Your next purchase should be 90 gallons of winshield washer fluid and a tire liquid adapter. Put about 45gal/ rear tire in.

That is a lot of loader out there and it will pick up the rears, on curl or lift, even with implements on it. It will pick up the rears with them being loaded AND a back blade. Load your tires.

You will find that you are going in the wrong direction in the wrong gear for a while, but you get used to it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I found that for loader work I like to set it just shy of 1500rpm and then using the foot throttle to get a boost when I want it.

Its a lot of machine, you will like it.
