The Good News - My lake was down about 30 feet from where it used to be. The dock was about 10 feet from where the water edge was. Thanks to TS Debby, the dock is now over water and looks like we gained more than half of the deficit back. The mud bottom that would normally be covered is now showing only 5-6 feet versus the 20 or so that was visable last week.

The Bad News - It ain't over and so far the rain guage is showing we had about 15" of rain. Guess I'll get more practice with my scraper and BB on the dirt road to my property!

The "Fun with Tractor" news - I swear the grass is growing while I'm looking at it. :p

So the massive rain amounts was not all bad for you?? Good news..

I can't even imagine 15" of rain. How long did it take for that to happen?

Jonyyuma - No it was good news where I live. About the only bad part is the road is pretty holed up, but that's just tractor time. Sixdogs- it happened from Saturday to this morning. We are still getting wind squalls, but the rain is very light and goes through quickly. I think we may get more for the next few days, but besides the access road flooding won't be an issue where I'm at.

If your lake is like my pond you'll find the water will continue to rise for a day or 2 after the rain stops.

It's good to hear that your lake is being replenished and that the rain deficit is falling. Although sometimes, too much of a good thing, too fast, results in problematic issues.

Mine is also full ... Creak is flowing like a river... Hope it keeps up with it or the will be over full very soon

Still getting some bands of rain, but I've checked around the property and other than a few down limbs, all is good with no standing water. Here is a before/after shot of my dock. I still am down about 7-8 feet from where the water has been on the edge in the past, but I'm not complaining.
