hoe is great some power ,more than I thought.had dealer install it on my kubota m4900 . used woods sub frame and hose installing kit. got on sat.problem is now when I used my loader in the lowering position [going down]I here a swishing sound in my hydraulics. also gets a little louder when going in to the float postion.it was hooked up under my seat through power beyond port and also returned back to tank.just like woods spec out . is this normal.never had these sounds before thanks kully

The Woods 9000 backhoe was my first choice, but settled for a smaller hoe. I had the rear remotes installed some weeks back, but haven't got around to installing it yet. It sounds like my rear remotes hook up to the same spot under the seat. That sound your referring to, do you think there is air in the lines from hooking up the backhoe? Maybe the air needs to be bled out. Sorry, that's all I have for now.

I get these sounds from my FEL on a L3130, just as you describe, and pretty much only when I head towards the float position. The noises were there from the beginning (machine arrived about a month ago) and don't seem to affect the performance, so I took it they were normal operating sounds from the float engaging, and sometimes disengaging. However, I've referred the issue to my dealer to see what he says.

please let me know what you dealer says because I never had these sounds before.as far as air in the lines I used the hoe for the first time only about 2 hours so I would think the air should be gone. I think I will also call woods tech and see what they say .thanks

Just got an email from my dealer on the sound of the backhoe. Apparently it is completely normal for the loader valve to make that hissing noise. It's just the relief of pressure from the valve.
