I went back and bought the 4100. He gave me the $2500 trade in on my Yanmar. And everyone else would only give me $1500, including him, on a new one. So I guess if that is the wholesale price of one, then he wouldn't lower the price, but in that way he did, so I guess I bought it for $7500, instead of $8500. He told me right off, he was selling it to a dealer for resale, that is why I figure that is the wholesale price of my Yanmar. So even if it does have 897.6 hours on it, I think it is in pretty good shape. They left it pretty dirty, no clean up. As I looked at it, I need to touch up the paint in a couple little spots on the frame, (black) and that is about it, just needs washed, tires real muddy. Everything I tried worked, so how can I go wrong on a 2001? At least its a Deere, and can always get parts and find someone to work on it, if its something I can't do. Around here, no one wanted to work on Yanmars. Of course on a 4100 they would be, but I won't tell them.
