Well, I bit the hook on a Kioti CK35...

You know, the dealer really quizzed me on what type of ground/surface I was going to use it on and strongly suggested the Ag tires over the R4. I went for the Ag. Time will tell but seems like a real good dealership.

Welcome retiredfarmer and rbike.
The 35 is the first Kioti I looked at, great tractor. As far as break in and tire selection there is a w i d e variety of opinions on both. Some say break them in the way you are going to use them, others say go easy, vary the rpm's, etc. In tire selection I picked the R1's because I do all field work with my Kioti and have very few traction problems.

I never did any breakin.
I used mine from day one the same as I do today.

Ditto, my dealer said the same thing, use it like you always will. No problems yet. My second Kioti and two previous Kubota's, all compacts.

Let it warm up before using it, make sure to do the 50 hour service and you will have no problems.

I've got 2004 ck20 (bought new) has 1108 hrs. on it now, no problems yet. i use loader, backhoe, 5' brushhog, 5' woods finisher mower, and a posthole drill. amazing tractor, my next one will be another kioti. It did come w/ mmm from midwest, i think. piece of junk. was always working on it. couple weeks ago i bought the 3 pt. woods mower and love it.
