I have windows on a box in the kitchen and linux in the basement. the reason linux doesn't get hit is because of its rights. windows is designed to alow others to control or interact with it . Linux blocks all this with rights. they are designed differently. Monkey wrench had some good advise, which I need to do also.

Information Assurance and/or Computer Security is a great way to make pretty good wages. Microsoft is a fairly easy target. One of the reasons is that it's built to be user friendly not particularly secure. They are getting a bit better (I can't believe I said that.
