I recently purchased an Everlast inverted welder. So far I really like the machine. The only criticism is the short length of the leads. I have a set of 30 leads from my transformer welder. I would like to find an adapter that would allow me to use the leads with Tweco #1 ends on the Everlast machine with its Dinse 35 fittings, while still being able to use them on the transformer welder. Does such an animal exist? Any 斗eads on where to find them? Thanks for the help.

DINSE are the standard now. TWECO is very rare now and harder to find everyday. But there are any number of ways to skin that cat. Lenco and CK are good options for getting the adapter.

Thanks guys. I will look into those. I guess one of the things confusing me is the different nomenclature. One place says “large” or “small” Dinse. THE Everlast manual says they are a Dinse 35. Then I see listings for Dinse 50mm. I’m running into the same thing with the Tweco. I know I need a Male Dinse/female Tweco fitting. Just struggling with the correct sizes.

Mark's comment got me to think outside the question instead of just responding to your query directly.

Rather than pay the rather outrageous prices for the adapters why not remove and replace the plugs on the leads

You can do that for much less money than buying the adapters.
I built some rather lengthy extension leads years ago. Bought the male and female dinse plugs and I was good to go.

Here are links to both the 50 and the 35 size for both and you can see how inexpensive they are. Also you don't have to worry about losing the adapters. Just convert everything.

BK50 FEMALE 1/2" Dinse Connector - 325 Amp (1-Pack)
SK50 MALE 1/2" Dinse Connector - 325 Amp (1-Pack)
SK35 MALE 1/2" Dinse Connector - 250 Amp (1-Pack)
BK35 FEMALE 1/2" Dinse Connector - 250 Amp (1-Pack)

That’s an interesting idea. I had considered it before, but just assumed it would be cost prohibitive. I guess I would have to be sure I could find a Dinse female that would fit my Ideal Arc 250 lugs. Definitely a good idea. Thanks.

Short pigtail with Tweco males for the Ideal Arc and Dinse females on the other end.
Darn things even come color coded black and red for us simple folks.
