Probably 15 years ago I bought a auto darkening helmet from Northern Tool. It's an entry level helmet, but it's served me well. Well, the other day, one of the knobs that connects the helmet to the suspension system snapped the stud off. This helmet has several flaws that I would love to improve upon (not blocking light from behind, slips off, sometimes has a delay when cold), but for now I'd rather just repair it and get back to burning. I was thinking I'd at least want to upgrade the suspension system to one that wouldn't be as prone to slip off when I'm out of position. I found some on ebay, but the seller doesn't know if they will fit. Does anybody know if these suspension systems are universal or am I looking at having to replace the helmet?
