We have a couple of vendors that offer free machines (complete with accessories) to new members only, on the last day of every month.

?.So far , the miller thunderbolt stands out ac/dc?.At welding school we have mostly all Miller?I stopped and got a cheater and the guy recommended that model?I've got an old Lincoln AC tombstone but I need to upgrade?'ve been considering an imported brand as I was told the USA welders are using foreign parts?e nice to get a welder that does various things?Stick Tig Plasma Mig etc?ut the most important thing is stick (and price)?I rebuild old tractors and have 4 farmall Cubs and 2 fergusons and an old gravely?Right now I am rebuilding a 48 cub and will mount a henderson loader on it?The loader is off a Super A so it needs some welding modification?Any recommendations would be appreciated?Thanks Dave

I've read where people say to stay away from a combination welder that has high frequency for Tig welding and a plasma combined.

For the money, I've been very impressed with my Everlast welders. They have a very sweet arc to them.
Heres what they can do with 7018, and 6010.

Uh, SA....shouldn't that say "what I can do with them". We all know that your bad day in the shop is still better than most of us on a good day.

Seriously though, it speaks well of the Everlast Welders if you are impressed with them. I'm quite happy with their PowerPlasma 50
