weight of L3400

I've haven't gone mad YET waiting on delivery of my L3400, which comes this Monday. One question though - I asked the dealer how much the beast will weigh with the FEL and the loaded rear tires. He said each loaded tire adds a couple hundred pounds and the tractor weights 2,500 with the loader. But when I've looked at the specs on Kubota's web site it says 2,558. Aren't the specs for just the basic tractor without any attachments? It does not say including the FEL?

I am certain that the weight listed on the Kubota specs page does NOT include the loader. It also does not include the weight of the fluids, believe it or not. See this post.

Thanks Bill that is what I thought. So with the tires filled I should be around 3,000 without the FEL. Then the FEL will add another what 400 lbs?

I don't see the attachment weights listed anywhere, so someone with direct knowledge will have to help you out there - but I would guess more than 400#'s. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Also, if you are getting R4 (industrial) tires, that will add some to the base tractor weight.

Not sure what FEL you are getting, but the LA402 with a 60" bucket weights in at 800 lbs according to my FEL manual. Adding up all the loaded tires and FEL, you are looking at something closer to 4000 lbs. Take that beauty to a local scale after you get it and see what it really weighs...I am going to do that with my B7800 w/FEL & backhoe. Then I can figure out what the tires actually weigh with the fluid.
