Weight capacity for 430FEL on 2000 JD4300?

Anyone know what the lift capacity is for a 430FEL on a 2000 JD4300? I'm sure it's here somewhere, but I cannot find it. Thanks!

1943 # at the pivot pin and 1687 # at the tip of the bucket edge is the lift capacity, 430 FEL on JD4300

I thought the lift capacity of a 430 loader was only 1258 pounds.

For Lift Capacity "To max. height at pivot pin it is 1258 lb.
"To 59" height at pivot pin it is 1943 lb

To Max Height at tip of bucket it is 1045 lb
To 59" height at tip of bucket it is 1687 lb

Max height at pivot pin is 101.4"

Must lose some mechanical advantage when the FEL reaches max height. Breakout force at the pivot pin is 3299 lb/ft.

Here's a dumb question, which pin is the pivot pin?

Not sure, but I assume it is the position where the bucket pivots up and down. The arm side of the bucket.

I do have another question. Why does the bucket have a weight capacity? Wouldn't it be according to the tractor it is on, or are they just going by the max amount bucket is rated to lift?
The dealers or manufacturers don't make it easy to get the factual info on capacity do they. It seems as though many companies give max capacity from different locations. ie. pivot pin/middle of bucket/end of bucket. You would assume they would all do the same for comparison. I guess it is a way to make their machine look better thant he others if you don't read their information FULLY.
Pivot pin would obviously be more than the tip of bucket, but if you don't know to look for that, some CUT seem to lift much more than others in their class, when they don't..... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
