Good day.
1st: TractorByNet and the group here rocks! Long time follower, rare poster. But that does not mean that I do not appreciate this site. Whenever the ugly part of the internet intrudes upon me, I can always reflect about TBN and say, yeah, there is the Yang to that. Keep up the good work, Mr. Chishti and community.

2nd: As Sgt. Joe Friday would say: "Just the facts."

Northern Kentucy, Zone 6B, Eden soil type - well drained with slow permeability.
Small bed, (5' x 30').
4 creeping Juniper bushes planted, (1 on each end, 2 in the middle), established, (7 years).
It is always a battle to hand weed this section of our lawn, so the Missus and I have cried "Mercy".
We are open to options on how to transform this part of the front lawn and to landscape it, but specifically would like any advice on our two lines of thought.
One is trying to use herbicides to get rid of the weeds but keep the junipers, (use a broadleaf, something for the seeds, a combination?).
Is this even possible without harming the junipers?
The second is to kill everything and just plant grass, (fescue)
Sure, there is a lot out there on the Web regarding this, but I can trust you.
Thanking all replies in advance.
And once again, keep up the good work!
