weather clear today

I'm not sure where to post this and I guess I'm not really saying anything at all important.

The weather is clear and beautiful 70 degrees today here in SW Louisiana. It's supposed to be beautiful through the weekend. Rain has finally given a break.

Along with the beautiful weather came my cold/flu or whatever. So, I've been sitting here all day feeling horrible looking out the window like a punished child.

Now, I'm wired from pancoff (I hate any medication). I just had to speak out.
I just had to get some info out of my domicile. I tried talking to the woman at the feed store when I called, but she seemed busy.

Thanks for letting me vent a little bit.

I noticed in the newspaper this morning that allergy sniffles, sneezing, coughing weather is upon us. It sure ain't often you'd hear of a Texan wanting dry weather, but my neighborhood has been wet and muddy so long that I hope it quits raining for awhile. I've gotten at least some rain 4 of the last 5 days, but now the forecast looks great for the next week; 40s at night, mid-60s in the daytime. My Bradford Pear trees have started blooming.

We had a record warm January and very warm February here. I posted some pics a couple of weeks ago of nicely blooming flowers. Well today it is snowing and just at the freezing mark.

A little late for the Olympics but the Para Olympics are starting today so they will have great snow at the mountain venues. The ski hill about one hour drive from us on Vancouver Island has 541 centimeter base. That's just over 216 inches for my friends south of the border.
