I got a Weather Brake heater enclosure for Christmas for my Kubota L3010. The instructions are not very good because some of the pictures of how the parts are to attach to the tractor are pretty poor. Does anyone have one of these on their tractor and if so, how do they like it? I think we had something like this on an Allis Chalmer C when I was kid, but I it was made out of canvas and was probably a little more durable than the thin vinyl in this outfit. I'd like to have someone say they have one that they like before I start drilling holes in my fenders to attach the frame. I think the instructions were made for a little earlier vintage tractor than mine.

We used to call them heat housers. If you were driving into the wind, they were great. If the wind was at your back, they were really cold.

They beat the crap out of nothing. Some models have optional "top" covers and "rear curtains". Had one like that several years ago on a Ford Jubilee. You had to remove your coat to stay in it very long. Worked very well. Biggest drawback to any of them is visibility. But again, beat the crap out of nothing. :)

I installed most of my Weather Brake heater enclosure today as I didn't get any feedback until this afternoon. Richard hit the nail on the head when he said the biggest drawback is visibility which didn't occur to me until I was finished this afternoon and pulled the tractor out of the shop and into it's stall. About all I can see is way out in front. I can't see the front wheels or even the rear wheels unless I look back over my shoulder. I use an Erskine pull behind blower for about 1/2 mile of driveway and gauge where to drive based on are how far the front wheel is from the edge of where I went before and marker stakes on both sides. If I have to stand up while I'm blowing snow to see here I'm driving, it kind of defeats the purpose of the enclosure. Now I got velcro strips stuck all over my tractor, if I should decide to try and send it back. This is very disappointing. I should have anticipated the problem when I put the windshield on.

Thanks for your response Richard, but I didn't read it until coming in the house tonight.

Bummer. Sorry it doesn't appear to work for you. I don't think any of them allow much visibility to the front tires. I can see where that would be a hard thing for you to overcome!!!! Hope you can get a solution but I sure don't know what it would be...... :(
