Looks like Covid KP.2 has infected my wife and I. I was working on a house for a client on Friday, and I thought the heat was wearing my out more then normal, but I kept thinking it was high humidity and something that I could just keep pushing through to get the job to where I wanted it for the weekend. My throat became very scratchy and sore. I thought it was from breathing through my mouth in the heat, and drinking too many Gatorades.
When I got home, I went right into my pool to cool off, which helped, but I still felt horrible. The next day, I felt worse, but still thought it was from overdoing it in the heat. I mowed the lawn, but I only lasted an hour before being too tired to keep mowing. I slept all day Sunday. Monday I called my clients and said that I had a cold.
Tuesday, my wife got it and realized that it was Covid KP.2
Only thing to do is wait it out. The first time I got Covid, I was home sick, for six weeks. This time, I'll just miss a week of work. Fatigue is probably the worse symptom once the sore throat passed.
Rest is wearing my out. I've watched every YouTube that I can find that might interest me, and most of them, I had to fast forward through because of all the meaningless talking. TV is worse. Researching things that I might build some time in the future seems to be the best way to kill time, but it's not really very interesting either.
Hopefully I'm the only one on here to get this. But if you think you're feeling a little off, and you have a sore throat for no reason, you might want to call it a day and not make it any worse. Apparently, it's spreading rapidly right now.
