My ck 35 started started to drip hydro fluid from the hst at 48 hours. Brought it back to the dealer I bought it from in Morris il. He is now a kubota dealer. He looked at it and stated tractor needs to be split. He offered to trailer it 2 hours south to an existing Kioti dealer (nice gesture). The dealer split tractor, replaced a seal or two and reassembled. It still leaked, they split it again, called Kioti about some differences from what the manual showed (their apparently is two schematics for the ck35). They repaired it again and said it was ready. I drove the 125 miles, picked it up, thanked them and returned home. After one hour of cutting some grass, I noticed it dripping again. Called them on Monday and said I'll be bringing it back. After 10 days I called them, still hadn't looked at it. I also called Kioti. I was worried about an internal problem, and it doing it again. I inquired about a trade in, possibly having Kioti assist, since it was only 7 months old. The numbers didn't work (over 8k to upgrade to a dk40 hst). When I called dealer back, they still hadn't looked at tractor, "I thought you were trading it in", I said NO, just repair it and I'll pick it up. Then it got interesting (to say the least), after not hearing from them, I called back in 7 days, service manager wasn't in, left message to call me. No call back. 2 days later I called again, talked to manager, who stated "we can't get it to leak, it's not Leaking, we have nothing to test it with" ( because I took my TNT off the 3 pt, lol). He said pick it up. I drove the 125 miles (again) and arrived at dealer. I looked under tractor and saw the drips of hydro fluid resting on the bottom of the case. I snapped a couple pics and loaded tractor ( it was obvious they were not going to fix the tractor). I showed the pic to the manager, he shrugged his shoulders and pointed to the mechanic area. I asked for a receipt (to see, show what was done). He said "I'll have to charge you for it". REALLY, I said I need something to show what you did or didn't do. He started at $30 but got it down to $5.xx for shop supplies. The receipt says. "We couldn't test tractor because customer removed equipment to test with". I returned tractor exactly the way I bought it new. And, what about the drips!
I hauled tractor back northeast to a dealer in Lowell in. I showed service manager my reciepts and what the problem was. He chuckled at the receipt, knowing the tractor has at least 3 test ports for the hydraulics. He said it will be a little bit as they were backed up a bit.
They repaired and replaced the hst and said it was ready. Just from talking to him, I think they took a bath on the repair. Before picking tractor up, I called the the sales dept., we were able to come to a deal on a new dk40 hst.
After 7 months, I had a tractor again. It started at the end of July and ended in Febuary.
That's my dealer Experiance so far in a nutshell. I can't believe the one south of me is still a Kioti dealer (doesn't say much for Kioti corp).
