I have a Kioti CK 4010 with no rear remotes. Is it possible for me to run a 7 ft planter off the FEL hydraulics and if so how? The planter is ground driven but requires 2 hookups to lower and raise the planter. The seed store rents the planter for $45 dollars. I am trying to figure out if there is a way with longer hydraulic lines if I could use the FEL adaptors to run the drill and lower it and raise it. Any advice ? I am trying to drill some Eqyptian wheat as a screen around the edge of a field.
thanks for any help

I'd think so. Couple questions:
When you say it "requires 2 hookups to lower and raise the planter." Do you mean the planter has 2 hoses that run one cylinder? (But then again, why does planter need a double acting cylinder to lower when gravity would do the job?) Or do you mean it has 4 hoses (2 for each hook up?)
Is your FEL removable?
Do the hoses for FEL have a quick attachment connectors on them? Looking at pictures on the web, it looks they connect ahead of your right foot?
If you can't remove the FEL, and only require connecting 2 hoses: I'd unplug the "curl" hoses from your FEL and plug in the planter there. You may want to chain the bucket in the "curled" position so it doesn't leak down once hoses are unplugged. If you unplug the lift hoses with the FEL on and it leaks down, ...
It's probably going to cost you to get extension hoses, with connectors made to go from where the FEL connects to reach the hoses that come w/ the planter.

Coby,
I was told it requires 2 hoses it is the 77C model I think 7 ft wide. My Bucket does have a quick detach. I have 4 quick connect hoses for it. I know that the hoses probably won't be cheap but they are probably cheaper than adding the rear remotes

I have a 2 spool remote kit that well fit your tractor. One spool is spring center and one is detent, it's new never been on a tractor. I don't have the mounting manual. I well sell it for $275.00 and you pay the shipping. BTY you can do it as CobyRupert said with just hose and couplers. If you don't want to add rear remotes right now and maybe at a later date, check with me then because I am not going to bust the kit up and use parts out of it for myself.
